I can’t believe a week has already passed me by, and I’m just now getting around to posting our Halloween photos. We picked my mom up from the airport that morning. Then, we kept her awake by carving pumpkins. This was Alethia’s first year trick-or-treating. We went to the community center on base. Alethia had a great time once she realized that she got candy out of it. We had a hard time keeping her from opening the candy up and eating it all in the car. Anyhow, we had a great time.

We are all doing well. Masami is a great, mellow baby. Alethia is still adjusting to sharing all the attention, but she sure loves her baby brother. It has been fantastic having my mom here to help out. We still get her for another week. Thanks for all your thoughts and prayers!
On Tuesday nights, Joleyce and I get together with 10-15 students to dance. From 7pm-9pm I teach them a new dance technique and Joleyce works with them on a choreographed dance routine. We try to give those who have a desire and talent for dancing a place where they can come and be encouraged in that and give them purpose for doing it. We believe that these talents are gifts from God and we encourage them to use those gifts for His glory.
The students had been practicing a routine for a few months and finally had the opportunity to perform it in front of other people. They were given the chance to dance during halftime at the JV homecoming football game. They were met with a ton of enthusiasm and have been asked to perform at another function in the community on the 21st of November. We are working on a new routine and will hopefully be ready with this one by the next performance. Check out our video below, quality is a little low, but you’ll get the idea…you might be able to see yours truly in the black hat, red sweatshirt, jeans, and white shoes
